In 2015, the Coach's Eye team released a powerful new video analysis app, focused primarily on Football.
After releasing the app, we also discovered it had significant value for many sports, from weightlifting to diving.
Having a delay, even minimal, when coaching, can spell the difference between tech you can use and tech that you leave in the car. InstantReplay removes all the delays and all the fuss, so that you can immediately focus on what matters most.
InstantReplay can be used for almost any sport. Take a look at how easy the setup is in the gym. Trigger the camera on multiple devices and it sends the video to the receiver. The video can be instantly reviewed with the classic Coach's Eye flywheel.

Speed, simplicity and reliability
The camera in InstantReplay provided incredibly efficient tagging, right within the recording UI, to aid in filtering and analysis later. Camera operators can easily enter play information prior to and during plays, in order to provide coaches with the highest degree of sideline intelligence.

With powerful filtering and a clear view of play data on each video, coaches can easily seek through their play videos in order to find exactly the play they need to share, or analyze. With such a wealth of information at their fingertips, making strategic adjustments on the fly becomes second nature.

The InstantReplay viewer is designed to require minimal interaction to get the maximum value out of the video. By automatically playing newly received videos in slow motion, coaches can setup a closed loop InstantReplay solution with ease. If needed, they can also access and modify all tagging information.

We know coaches have enough to worry about when getting their team ready to play a game. They don't need to stress about setting up their tech. So we put a particular focus on making the settings easy and fast to setup. No need to learn complex mumbo jumbo.

I've had the honor of working with Alan Dennis for the better part of 5 years. Alan has many invaluable skills, not the least his ability to create clarity around complex problems. At both the ideation phase of product design and throughout execution, Alan rapidly assimilates a problem, prototypes dozens of approaches, gathers feedback, gleans insights and iterates. He is quick to create and jettison wireframes and prototypes, which is an excellent tool in facilitating conversation early on in a release cycle, increasing velocity and saving development cycles.
I've also witnessed Alan expertly conduct dozens of user research interviews, diligently comb over usage data and consistently champion the user by improving workflows and interfaces based on careful analysis of the research. His communication skills on a project provide clarity to everyone involved from development to the business team. He is truly a selfless leader and a great asset to any team serious about making a dent in the universe.
